The place

Unstaffed DNT Tønsberg og Omegn cabin in the municipality of Larvik, at 340 m on the Lindsverkseter plateau (Vestfoldmarka, Norway). Capacity of 11 people across three rooms. Combined living room-kitchen with dining table, equipped kitchen, separate washroom. Bring your own sheets (sleeping bags not allowed). Summer access: parking several hundred meters below, then a walk. Winter: the Lindsverkveien road is not cleared of snow, parking at Trollsvann (2 h walk) or Merkedammen (1 h). Booking required via DNT: standard DNT key, at least one member of the group must be a DNT member. Cancellation 5 days in advance for a refund. Day routes to Barlindkollen and the protected area of Tolvmannsmyr. Dogs allowed in a dedicated room (crate available).
