The place

DNT Romsdal cabin on the shore of Eikesdalsvatnet at 22 meters elevation, surrounded by mountains rising to 1,800 meters (Møre og Romsdal, Norway). Total capacity of 31 beds: a main building with 28 beds plus a bookable dog annex. Closed from 28 September to 1 May. From 1 May to 28 June, the whole cabin is available for rent only, on request from DNT Romsdal (dntromsdal@dnt.no, 71218202). From 28 June to 27 September, self-service mode with per-bed booking. Boat transport must be arranged at least 2 days in advance with the DNT Romsdal administration (250-300 NOK per trip).
