The place

DOC serviced-category hut with twelve bunks, located at 46 m in the Hollyford Valley, north of Fiordland National Park. Rate NZ$25 adult and NZ$12.50 child (5-17, free under 5) for the hut; alternative camping at NZ$10 adult and NZ$5 youth. Online booking available until 30 June 2027; same-day bookings accepted until 8pm subject to availability (NZ$10 fee if booked at the visitor centre). No unbooked places held.
