Hevertjønna
The place
Rustic hytte of the "Barnas Naturverden" network in eastern Trollheimen, designed for short family stages between three adventure cabins (Hevertjønna, Dammtjønna and a third). A replica of a medieval sælehus: half of the building is a room with an open hearth and a smoke hole in the ceiling, with sleeping benches along the walls (6 adults and 2 children); the other half comprises a vestibule and a second room fitted with a wood stove, a gas cooker and a window. Summer access from Heverfallsetra via a marked 3 km trail, starting from Ulsberg or Berkåk. Booking required via Bygdasenteret (phone 72 42 77 05).
