Hamilton Tomo Group Hut

The place

A hut managed by the Hamilton Tomo Group (HTG), one of New Zealand's oldest caving clubs (since 1949), located 2 km west of Waitomo village, at 155 Te Anga Road (North Island, New Zealand), at about 110 meters elevation, 40 minutes south of Hamilton. Accommodation for individuals, groups, schools and youth organizations. Three separate booking systems depending on the visitor profile. Activities offered: monthly caving trips for all levels, technical rope training for vertical caves, adventures ranging from simple introductions to multi-day expeditions in the South Island, and social gatherings in Hamilton.
