The place
Small hut at 852 m, 4 bunks, in the Ahuriri area (Otago, South Island, New Zealand). A compact four-bunk hut, probably the most used in the valley due to its central position. Like Shamrock Hut, it is tucked in at the edge of the bush with a good view upstream. No dedicated DOC page — confirm conditions and status with the Tititea/Mount Aspiring National Park Visitor Centre in Wānaka. Allow about 2h walking from Shamrock Hut.
