The place
Pastoral cabin at 1718 m in the Belledonne massif (Isère), accessible in 1 hour from the Refuge Jean Collet, Lac Blanc or the Col de la Sitre. Reserved for shepherds from July to October (sign on site). The habert is locked, but a hatch at the back of the cabin allows you to spend the night dry. About 5 places maximum. Captured water source nearby, probably shut off in winter.
