Habert des Sabottes
The place
Unguarded habert at 1760 m in the Belledonne massif (Saint-Mury, Isère). Access via a trail 200 m before the Chalet du Pré Mollard, on the left toward the Lac de la Sitre via Bognon, about 1h15. Outdoor setup: small enclosure with a large stone table surrounded by benches and a small fire pit. Indoor equipment: stove, saw, axe, utensils, saucepan, candles, matches. In winter, the water from the alpine pastures is shut off to prevent freezing.
Getting there
Depuis le refuge du Pré du Mollard (Saint-Mury-Monteynard, Belledonne, Isère), monter par le chemin forestier du Clos (30-45 min), puis bifurquer environ 200 m avant le chalet vers le lac de la Sitre via Bognon (environ 1h15 au total).
The setting
Le habert est implanté dans un petit espace boisé aménagé, avec une grande table en pierre entourée de bancs et un foyer extérieur. Point d'eau et forêt à moins de 100 m.
