The place

Sleeping places: 8. Well maintained and in good condition, a classic refuge that looks quite "weathertight". One floor, sleeping takes place above (mezzanine). The window and its shutters close well, the door rather poorly, no water nearby. Stone/concrete building with wood upstairs. Inventory: - 1 saw in good condition (2025) - 1 axe with a broken handle (2020) - 3 benches and a table (2019) - 1 broom, a frying pan... A little lighting fuel (small candles) and heating fuel. GSM network: Poor, mostly non-existent. The fireplace has been removed. Access by Transisère bus: line 5100, get off at the Lans-en-Vercors bus station. From the bus station, follow the road for a while toward St-Nizier. At the exit of Lans-en-Vercors, turn right toward the ski slopes. You can take a small path along the right side of the road, lower down. Before the hamlet of Furon, cross the road to take a path climbing toward the ridges. Higher up, reaching a farm, continue climbing and pass the Pas de la Tinette, on a bordered path that looks like it was cut into the rock. Continue a few hundred metres on the wide main path that joins the GR91. From there, you will soon spot signs indicating you're near the Habert des Ramées. By car, park at the ski stadium then climb into the ski slopes until crossing a 4x4 track heading north; this track climbs to the refuge. Caution: the refuge is off the main Moucherotte path. Note: the hut is within a perimeter where access may be restricted, as it is in the Black Grouse nesting zone. Please respect the signage and temporary access restrictions you may encounter. ?
