Habert de Chamechaude

The place

Cabin at 1570 m in the Chartreuse massif (Isère), in a meadow on the edge of the impressive rock face of Chamechaude, slightly below to the south. Very good condition, interior with a sleeping loft. Ladder access to the loft, which can be dangerous for young children. Facilities: saw, broom, kitchen utensils, guestbook, plenty of candles, large fireplace, two large tables and benches. Little water nearby — the only spring is at the Cabane des Bachasson, about an hour's walk away.
