Haakonsbu

The place

DNT cabin on the island of Hinnøya, in northern Norway, deep in the mountains; a stage on the Trekanten circuit. Main building fully rebuilt in 2018, comprising four rooms with three family beds (90/120) for about twelve sleeping places in total. Well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove and oven, a large wood stove for heating, indoor toilets, solar power supplying light to every room. An annex sauna building built in 2018, with a wood stove and a water tank for heating wash water. Dogs allowed at Lille Haakonsbu with prior booking. Advance booking recommended if you plan to continue on to Toralfsbu.
