The place

Self-service cabin managed by Kristiansund og Nordmøre Turistforening (KNT), on the island of Tustna in the municipality of Aure (Møre og Romsdal, Norway), at 180 meters elevation, on the Fjordruta network. Fifteen beds in the main building and annex, with extra capacity on floor mattresses and sofas bringing the total to about 29 places. Gas cooking in both buildings, 12V electricity for lighting and limited charging, mobile coverage, wood stove, outdoor tap (water sometimes limited during dry periods), swimming pool 200 meters away. Roughly half the beds can be booked; reservations are held until 7 pm. Payment via the DNT app, sleeping bags not permitted for hygiene reasons. Dogs allowed in the annex (in an enclosure, no access to the main building). No campsite; tent visitors pay the day-use rate.
