The place

Recently built cabin belonging to Kárpát Egyesület Eger in the Berva-völgy valley (Bükk massif, Hungary). Maximum capacity of 13 people in the loft dormitory space; outdoor space for 3 tents. Suitable for group gatherings and camping. Facilities: picnic area, bográcsozó (Hungarian cauldron cooking) station, tables. Vehicle access with permit (max 3 cars depending on group size: 1 for 5, 2 for 10, 3 for more than 10); the last 50-100 metres on an unpaved forest road, difficult in bad weather. Closed from 15 December to 14 March; minimum 2-night stay on public holidays. Free for KEE members; 4,000 HUF/person for non-members (minimum 15,000 HUF/night) + 300 HUF/adult tax (2026).
