The place

Self-service cabin managed by Kristiansund og Nordmøre Turistforening (KNT), the ninth refuge on the Fjordruta from Kristiansund airport (Møre og Romsdal, Norway), at 413 metres altitude. Twenty-three sleeping places, open year-round, unlocked; half the beds bookable in advance, the other half for walk-in arrivals. Gas equipment for cooking, 12V electricity for lighting and charging devices, mobile coverage, stove in the annex, outdoor toilets in the stable. Payment via the new DNT app (supplies and overnight stays). Refuge labelled "family-friendly": river swimming nearby, views towards the Trollheimen range, trails to neighbouring peaks.
