Located on the true right bank of the Havelock, just upstream from Growler Creek, near an old airstrip. Originally a private building that passed into DOC public estate; refurbished by the South Canterbury Recreational Sportsmans Club with support from local businesses. 8 bunks, water and toilets. Not to be confused with other "Growler Hut" listings in the Marlborough Sounds.
