Grange de St Roman

The place

Barn at 1692 m, shown as ruins on IGN map 3237 OT, in the Vercors / Diois massif (Drôme). Access via the GR 93 after climbing onto the plateau from Archiane, branching left then taking a right-hand fork. Interior in two parts: one completely collapsed, the other stable but with no floor upstairs; about 20 m² usable, bare earth floor, makeshift door that can be closed at night. Located at the end of a dead-end path, serves as an emergency shelter for hikers.
