Grange de Falavier

The place

Hut at 1240 m in the Bugey (Ain, Jura massif), in the Hergues valley. On the GR 9, GR 509, GTJ (Grande Traversée du Jura) and GR Tour du Valromey routes. Reachable in 15 min from the Chalet d'Arvière to the south, or in 20 min from the D123 at the col de la Biche to the north. Capacity of 20 places on mattresses, part enclosed and part open, poor insulation (large volume with openings), no fireplace.
