The place

Forest hut built in 1946 at 1250 m in the Vaud Jura (Switzerland), within the Jura vaudois Regional Nature Park. Refuge in communal and cantonal forests — owned by the commune or the State — built to shelter forestry workers, who have priority use. Equipment: table and benches. Access from Grandes Roches, follow the path towards Roche Champion then towards Saugy for 2 km, turn left at the junction, then after 500 m turn right onto the Weibel path.
