Göksnäset ("Cuckoo Peninsula") in Västmanland county, in the Sala/Ängelsberg area (east-central Sweden), at a true altitude of ~50 m (the listed 0 m is incorrect and needs fixing). A traditional red-painted (falu röd) wooden cabin on the shore of a glacial lake, in the heritage region of the Sala silver mines (mined from the 16th to the 19th century) and the Ängelsberg ironworks (UNESCO). An area of pine, spruce and birch in the southern taiga.
