Small historic hut at 166 m on the right bank of the South Branch of the Mōkihinui River, at the confluence with Goat Creek (Kahurangi National Park, West Coast, New Zealand) — not in the Wairarapa as the name might suggest. DOC Backcountry category hut with 4 bunks, built in 1957. No booking, free (first come, first served). Accessible via the Old Ghost Road. A rustic stopover in a wild valley of the West Coast.
