Goahppelasjavri autiotupa

The place

Open wilderness hut (autiotupa) south of Lake Kuoppilasjärvi, on the Utsjoki trail (35 km) southwest of the village of Utsjoki in Finnish Lapland. Fireplace and gas stove, a long sleeping platform for 8 people (2 more possible on a raised level). Outdoor toilets, woodshed, waste sorting point. Very popular in winter and spring with ice fishermen; also used in summer. Managed by Metsähallitus.
