The place

Basic DOC hut with 4 bunks at 492 m in Lake Sumner Forest Park (Canterbury, North Canterbury / Arthur's Pass, NZ). Free access, no maintained DOC track: self-sufficient navigation required (map, compass, GPS). Unbridged river crossings should be avoided in flood. Dogs not permitted.
