The place

CAS cabin at 2317 m high above Grindelwald, on a grassy ledge at the foot of the Wetterhorn (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland). Breathtaking views. The name Gleckstein evokes the ibex ("Steinböcke") that come to lick salt off the cabin wall. "Massenlager" dormitory, comfortable rooms. The site announces that this is the last season of operation for the current management team. Featured in a five-part SRF (Swiss-German television) series in summer 2025.
