Gemeindekaser alp at 1706 m in the municipality of Innichen / San Candido (Puster Valley, South Tyrol), in the Sesto Dolomites. Mid-altitude pastoral setting with a malga and Jägerhütte (hunter's cabin) reachable via the area's marked trails and loops. A quiet stop midway along the Innichen / Toblach loop routes, in an area where alpine pastoral culture is still very much alive. The German-language place name ('Kaser' = casera, alpine dairy hut) reflects the historic Tyrolean heritage of the upper Puster Valley.
