Guarded hut located at 2205 m elevation in the upper Urbachtal, above the Mattenalpsee, in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland). 65 beds in the guarded season and 20 places in the winter room. Wardens: Katrin and Roger. Summer season from 18 June to end of September 2026. A classic base for routes in the Gauligletscher area.
