The place

Self-service DNT cabin complex in Indre Troms (northern Norway), near the Swedish border, on the E1 European long-distance route. Three buildings (1973, 1984, 2008). Total capacity of 24 beds: Nye Gappo 10 beds (2 rooms of 4 + 2 shared), Gamle Gappo 10 beds (same layout), dog annex 4 beds. Facilities: wood stoves, gas cookers, solar panels, outdoor toilets. Access: Rognli car park then 11 km / 3-4 h through the Paraselva valley, summer and winter via FV321 from Hatteng (snowmobile recommended in winter). Open year-round. Dog-friendly cabin. Access via DNT key — DNT membership required to purchase the key.
