The place
Форельне господарство (Trout Farm) in the Ukrainian Carpathians, Rakhiv/Ust-Chorna sector (Zakarpattia, Ukraine), at 459 m elevation, in the Tisza (Danube) basin. Part of the continuous Ukraine cluster (batches 237-302). A rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss, introduced from the USA in the late 19th century) fish farm, in the area of the UNESCO Carpathian Beech Forests primeval zone. The town of Rakhiv is 90% Hutsul, the "capital of the Ukrainian Hutsuls".
