The place

Day shelter (dagsturhytte) in the municipality of Kinn (Sogn og Fjordane, Norway). No overnight accommodation — daytime use only. Open year-round. A low-threshold offering for hikers: shelter for eating a packed lunch and warming up, plus a small hiking library in Norwegian. Access is about 1 hour from the Grov car park (FV 614 toward Svelgen), or via Hatleset (~1 km east on the R5). Views of Norddalsfjorden, toward Eikefjord to the east and Florø and the islands to the west. Suitable for school classes and families.
