The place

Unstaffed DNT cabin in the Finnskogen, in Hedmark on the Swedish border. Voted "warmest DNT cabin of the year" in 2014 by readers of Fjell og Vidde. Two living rooms, kitchen and a bedroom (2 beds) on the ground floor; two bedrooms (2 and 6 beds) upstairs. Well water to be boiled, outdoor toilet in an outbuilding. Marked trails in all directions, ideal as a stop on a hut-to-hut tour or as a base for exploring the region.
