The place

Two DNT huts at 994 m at the end of Flatbreen, an arm of the Jostedalsbreen glacier (Vestland). Capacity 15 bunks. Important for expeditions and glacier courses on the Jostedalsbreen. Closed since 2024 to individual use, open only to educational groups (glacier courses, folk high schools, school classes, scouts).
