The place

Standard hut with eight bunks managed by the Department of Conservation (DOC) in Kahurangi National Park, Nelson/Tasman region, Motueka sector (South Island, New Zealand), at 953 metres altitude. Rates until 30 June 2026: NZD10/night adult, NZD5 youth (5-17 years), free under 5. No booking required, payment by Standard Hut Ticket (blue adult, yellow youth) deposited in the honesty box or by annual Backcountry Hut Pass.
