Fjellvang

The place

An unmanned DNT cabin of Oslo og Omegn at 405 m, in the Oslo Marka. 14 bunks booked place-by-place (person in charge must be ≥ 18 years old). Electric hotplate and wood stove for heating, 220V socket, basic kitchen equipment. Water from an outdoor tap or a well (must be boiled). No refrigerator. No parties; dogs not allowed indoors (the neighbouring Røverhula cabin is for dogs). A sleeping bag liner or personal bedding is mandatory. Summer access: blue-marked trail from Snippen station; winter: skiing from Movatn. Suitable for school groups (teaching materials available on loan from the DNT office).
