The place

Unstaffed DNT Oslo og Omegn cabin in the Østmarka forest near Lørenskog, at 263 m, 3 km from the Losby welcome farm via a forest track. Accessible on foot, by bike, and with a stroller. Four beds in two rooms, kitchen, living room, wood stove, electric heating, grid electricity. DNT membership required for the standard key. Reservation required (check-in 2 pm, check-out 2 pm), booking party leader must be an adult. Two canoes available in summer; fishing permit required for Fiskelausa and Endtjernet. Closed Monday-Friday throughout October for elk hunting. Bring your own bedding; clean thoroughly after use.
