The place
Staffed Swiss Alpine Club hut at 3,048 m at the foot of the Finsteraarhorn (4,274 m), the highest point of the Bernese Oberland. One hundred six beds in the main building and ten spots in the winter room. Spacious common room, built-in sanitary facilities and modern kitchen. Down duvets provided, cotton or silk liner mandatory. Evening meal at 6 pm. Winter room accessible year-round with advance notice.
