The place
Key-access hut known locally as Sasfészek ("Eagle's Nest"), also called the Berda József kulcsosház, located on the Fekete-hegy at about 574 m elevation, in the administrative area of Esztergom between Kesztölc and Pilisszentlélek, in the Duna-Ipoly National Park (Pilis, Hungary). Two-storey building inaugurated on 15 October 1933 by the Hungarian Tourist Society and the town of Esztergom, badly damaged during the Second World War and later rebuilt. Renovated in 2014: new roof, refurbished façade, insulation, equipped kitchen and bathroom, new ceramic stove. Managed by Pilisi Parkerdő Zrt. and operated by the nature section of Dorogi Egyetértés SE. Booking required, twelve beds in the upstairs dormitory and on the ground floor. A plaque commemorates the poet József Berda.
