The place
Rustic hut of the Akademischer Alpenclub Bern (AACB) at 1,901 m, located southwest of Innertkirchen in the upper Ochsental above the Reichenbachtal (Bernese Oberland). Fifty beds, staffed during the climbing season from June to September by warden Bruno Scheller. Traditional base camp for the many rock climbing routes of the Engelhörner, one of the most sought-after alpine climbing massifs in Switzerland. Outside staffed periods, the dormitories and common room remain accessible.
