Historic 1930s bushmen ranger's hut (surname "Dungey", a typical Australian pioneer name), area with Eucalyptus regnans (mountain ash, the world's tallest flowering plant at 100 m) and sambar deer Rusa unicolor (introduced in 1860, now a national-park nuisance species), heritage of the Taungurung people (part of the Kulin nation, Central Victoria, and the Snowy Mountains Scheme reservoir built 1949-74, employing European migrants/displaced persons, 100,000 workers, 121 dams).
