The place

Draveurs in Grands-Jardins National Park, Baie-Saint-Paul/Saint-Urbain area (Charlevoix, Quebec, Canada), at 649 m elevation. Part of a continuous Quebec cluster (batches 234-327). SÉPAQ refuge named after the draveurs (log drivers of Quebec in the 19th-20th centuries, celebrated in the folk songs of "La Bolduc", 1894-1941), in a zone of balsam fir and southern taiga. UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1988, Charlevoix astrobleme, 350 million years old.
