The place
Guarded Swiss Alpine Club hut at 2,940 m near Randa, in the Valais Mattertal, managed by the SAC Monte Rosa section. Seventy-five beds in season, nine places in the winter room. Base for climbing the Dom (4,545 m), one of the highest peaks in the Mischabel massif. 2026 summer season starting June 24. Outside the season, winter room available with blankets; climbers must bring their own cooking gear and a liner sleeping bag. Booking required via the official system.
