Deuxième bergerie de l'âne

The place

Unstaffed hut at 2100 m in the Parpaillon-Ubaye massif (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Reached via a steep, poorly marked trail from the Bergerie de l'Âne (about 1 km away). Probably occupied by a shepherd in summer. Similar to the Bergerie de l'Âne, perhaps a little smaller: at least 2 bunk beds (possibly more), shepherd's or scientific equipment, no fireplace; a small oil stove with no fuel has been reported.
