Cabane de la Dent Blanche

The place

Staffed hut at 3507 m, the highest staffed hut of the Swiss Alpine Club, on the flank of the Dent Blanche (Valais, Switzerland). Owned by the Jaman section of the CAS. Fully self-sufficient in power and water. 35 staffed places, 20 emergency shelter places (winter room accessible year-round). Half-board, simple meals, self-service options. Main access from Ferpècle via Bricola and the Roc Noir (T5, 5-6 h, 1750 m elevation gain), or from the Cabane de Bertol via the Tête Blanche (PD+, 3h30, 550 m elevation gain), or from the Schönbielhütte via the Col de la Tête Blanche (AD, 5h30, 1350 m elevation gain).
