Basic 6-bunk DOC hut at 1,290 m in the Pisa Conservation Area (Otago, Wanaka/Makarora, NZ). A historic high-country hut: for over 100 years it served as the seasonal residence of the musterers of Mt Pisa Station. Restored by DOC to its original layout — a single corrugated-iron room with a stone fireplace. Notable feature: historic wall graffiti from the early 20th century. Free. Booking via the DOC system.
