Rifugio Dalmazzi

The place

Staffed CAI Torino refuge at 2584 m in Val Ferret, near the Triolet glacier (commune of Courmayeur, Aosta Valley). Original 1880 shelter, current stone structure built in 1932, extended in the 1980s and fully renovated in 2003. Total capacity of 32 beds, including 16 in a winter room accessible year-round. Access in about 2h30 walking for 815 m of ascent. Staffed by Mr Piffari (La Barma des Flours de Glace). Contact 379 252 6838 (WhatsApp preferred, landline not working).
