Dagsturhytte Stedjestova

The place

Dagsturhytte (day-trip cabin, no overnight beds) on the Stedjeåsen in the municipality of Sogndal in Vestland, at about 300 m altitude. A joint initiative between the former Sogn og Fjordane county, Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and local municipalities to provide a low-threshold welcome point for hikers, schools and families. The cabin has a Norwegian-language hiking library and is open year-round. Access via a 1 km trail marked in green with 250 m of ascent (a leisurely 30-40 min walk), parking near the church and the Stedje kindergarten. Compatible with the SjekkUT system (digital hiking log). Managed by the Sogndal municipality.
