Standard-category DOC four-bunk shelter located at 749 m in Ruataniwha Conservation Park (Canterbury). Access from the Ram Hill carpark at the end of Lake Ohau Road, via the Hopkins Valley: 19.5 km, 6 to 7 hours' walk. Rate 10 NZD per adult per night, 5 NZD for ages 5-17, free below that, payable via standard tickets or an annual Backcountry Hut Pass. No booking required. Map BY14.
