The place

Sleeping places planned: 3 The roof, which looks recent, being partially blown off (2010 condition), the cabin can serve as a shelter in case of absolute necessity but is barely habitable. A corner hearth, a breeze-block board for a 60cm sleeping spot. Cement floor. 2 more places on the ground if needed. From Vicdessos take the D18, from Massat take the D18 toward Port de Lers, from Aulus the D8f. The cabin is located on the edge of the D18, heading north, 100m from the Étang de Lers. Its apparently limited interest given its proximity to the road makes full sense in winter, since the pass is not cleared of snow.
