Cortal (traditional Catalan pastoral hut) of l'Oriol in the Cardós valley, Catalan Pyrenees (Pallars Sobirà, Lleida), at 1554 m altitude, near the Andorran border. Rustic dry-stone hut used by shepherds during the summer grazing season, open to hikers outside that period. Alpine zone of black pines and grassland.
