The place
Stone shepherd's chozo on the south face of Pico Valdecebollas (1990 m), municipality of Brañosera in the Montaña Palentina. The rectangular building, 7.20 × 3.75 m, offers wide views over the winter pastures. Left standing but badly deteriorated for a long time, it is part of the restoration programme run by Brañosera town council: renewing the roofing, windows and doors, repointing the interior and exterior walls, and stabilising the floor with paving. A stage on the Ruta de los Chozos, a base for climbing the Valdecebollas.

From Brañosera, via the Ruta de los Chozos towards the south face of Pico Valdecebollas (1990 m).
