The place
Bothy maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association, on the shore of Loch Chiarain in the western Scottish Highlands, between the Corbett Leum Uilleim and the Graham Beinn na Cloiche. The building has two sleeping rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs. As with all MBA bothies, access is free, open and unbooked; a few books and candles are provided but you must bring your own fuel, sleeping gear and food. A base for routes around Loch Treig and the nearby Grey Corries Munro traverse.
Getting there
Access from Corrour Station (West Highland Line) or from Loch Treig. Long route with no nearby motorable road.
