Chatka pod szczytem Lachów Groń
The place
Wilderness chatka at ~913-925 m on a scenic meadow just below the summit of Lachów Groń, in the municipality of Koszarawa (Żywiec district, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland), in the Beskid Żywiecki. A well-maintained wooden building, equipped with a stove, a table and bunks along the walls. One of the three rooms has the heating stove, the other two remain cold. No electricity or running water, but a well nearby. Space for a campfire outside and the possibility of hanging hammocks between the trees. Located on the yellow-marked trail from Koszarawa to Lachów Groń, making it a well-frequented stop. Nicknamed "Przystań Turystyczna" (hikers' refuge harbour), ideal for lovers of wilderness, survival and bivouacking.
